IMPORT/EXPORT is a nomadic performance art platform that brings the collective experience of a community of international performers to create three performative and educational events in Livorno (IT, 2023), Berlin (DE, 2024), and Belgrade (RS, 2025). Each event consists of two programs. IMPORT: Two evenings of live performance presenting a series of curated artworks. 10 artists acting under one roof. A kaleidoscopic and immersive experience in which the audience takes in a crisscross of topics, influences and cultural heritages. And EXPORT: Artist residencies, workshops, symposiums and contextual activities promoting community exchange in each city. IMPORT/EXPORT is co-created by six friends and freelance artists: Maria Novella Tattanelli (IT) Tiina Lehtimäki (FIN), Enrico L’Abbate (IT), Aleksander Zain (RS), Sharon Estacio (US, IT) and Darius Bogdanowicz (ES, BE) to give the opportunity to perform in the dignifying conditions to an ever-expanding community of emergent and established performers. Following all the beauty and distress of our collective work for the Marina Abramović Institute during the retrospective exhibition The Cleaner (2017-2020) we decided to research and enhance a performance art platform that prioritizes transparency in a functional working environment, potentiating communication between its performing artists, artist networks and spaces presenting performance art. IMPORT/EXPORT is a transnational practice based project, igniting cultural exchange with new communities through live artwork and encouraging sound international partnerships throughout the three itinerary years of the project. A curatorial handbook will be created from these experiences, to be published and distributed at the end of this first cycle (2026). It counts with the support of Creative Europe, and it is done in collaboration with three partnering associations: mowan teatro of Livorno (Claudia Caldarano and Alessandro Brucioni) , Flutgraben e.V of Berlin (Matthias Krause) and the U10 Art Collective of Berlgrade (Sanda Kalebić and Jovana Trifuljesko). In addition, for the realisation of the curatorial handbook a team of young curators has been set by U10: Jovana Trifuljesko, Ana Simona Zelenović, Bojana Jovanović, Ljubica Vujović and Maja Petrović.
